June Serger Club flatlock Tote Bag

We are continuing to serger our way through the book: "Simple Serger Sewing". This month we will be using the flatlock stitch to make this fun little tote. It is full of pockets and a great way to use up 3 1/4" scraps. A charm pack would work great if it has 50 pieces. We will be making te outside of the bag in class and you will construct the bag on your own. This is a great time to experiment with decorative threads such as pearl crown rayon of designer 6. Jeans stitch would work as well but would not cover entirely. Books are available at Bear Paw and we will be serging through it during the next year. June 15 (it's early this month) at 1:00 and if I get 4 people to sign up there will be a 6:00 class.
